Our Leadership

Dr. Bob Boyd, Jr. - Founder and President - A champion wrestler in high school, Bob graduated from the College of William and Mary.  As a senior in college, Bob met Christ in a dramatic encounter that transformed his life.  Called to the ministry, he attended Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and then earned his doctorate in Biblical Preaching at Asbury Seminary.  He was pastor of a growing church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” of TV fame.  Then Campus Crusade for Christ International invited Bob to join its staff as a National Speaker.  After 12 years with Campus Crusade, Bob and his wife Mallory began the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association in 1997 (now New Fire for Christ).  Dr. Boyd and the team now lead large city-wide and university-wide evangelistic campaigns around the world.  Bob has spoken to millions of people in these campaigns and on radio and TV. Countless thousands have become active disciples of Christ. Bob and Mallory live in Norfolk, VA. They have four sons, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Mallory Boyd - Co-founder of New Fire for Christ and an International Speaker - She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.F.A. and worked as an artist for three years for Athletes in Action.  She met Bob and they married before his last year at Dallas Theological Seminary.  Mallory helped Bob to pastor a church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” in Virginia. Bob and Mallory joined Campus Crusade and Mallory led a discipleship program among seminary wives in Wilmore, KY while based at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Over the years Mallory has led many Bible studies and spoken to thousands at family seminars, as well as founding children’s ministries with tens of thousands in Russia, Africa, India, and Pakistan.  She is a gifted speaker and teacher of the Bible, as well as co-author of The New Life, an evangelistic training tool. She is also certified to teach the "Walk Thru the Bible" lesson series. Today, Mallory is an award-winning watercolor artist and a devoted wife and mother of 4 boys, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Our U.S. Staff 

Leslie-Ann Sturtz - Office Manager - A graduate of Regent University, wife and mother of three, she has devoted much of her adult life to reaching young children for Christ.  She served at the Director of Children's Ministries at Monumental United Methodist Church for nearly 8 years.  She, along with the other office staff, keep, not only the U.S. office running and assistant the Boyd's as needed, but also oversee all the international teams as well.

Our International Team

Dancun Omondi - Director of NFC Kenya - He leads our Kenyan staff in running the School of Discipleship, as well as their other mission trips and outreach programs that are for the people throughout Kenya.

Noah Jebaraj - India - He oversees the many churches that New Fire planted.

J.S. - Pakistan - He is the leader of NFC Pakistan.  He leads worship in many home churches as well as day-to-day discipling and traveling to reach the unreached in this extremely hostile country.  We have withheld his name for security reasons.
