Across Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, New Fire for Christ volunteers are discipling thousands of school-aged children and helping them grow in faith. Through ministry in nearly 200 schools, this work is opening doors to reach the next generation with consistent truth, guidance, and hope.
New Fire for Christ’s volunteers disciple thousands of school-aged children in the nations of Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Your donations enable our ministry to teach these students life-changing lessons from the Bible. Trained to utilize our four-year curriculum, our volunteers teach from the Old Testament and from the New Testament, as well as important topical messages about Salvation, Sanctification, the Holy Spirit, and Prayer.”

Jangwani Beach Primary School is located in the Dar Es Salaam region of Tanzania, serving 1,632 total students. New Fire disciples 690 of those elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers, Mwesigwa Wilbard and Daniel John.
Malamba Mawili Primary School is located in the Dar es Salaam region of Tanzania, serving 2,500 total students. New Fire disciples 530 of those elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteer, George Vitas Ndunguru.
Mbezi Beach Primary School is located in the Dar es Salaam region of Tanzania, serving 970 total students. New Fire disciples 445 of those elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers, Elisha J. Mwanza and Joseph Mayunga.
Msigani Primary School is located in the Dar es Salaam region of Tanzania, serving 1,326 total students. New Fire disciples 961 of those elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers, Farida Simfukwe and Silas Kilele.
Kingazi Primary School is located in the Dar es Salaam region of Tanzania, serving 2,113 total students. New Fire disciples 514 of those elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers. including Isaya Evord.
Makorongo Secondary School is located in the Dodoma region of Tanzania, serving 678 total students. New Fire disciples 250 of those high-school-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers.

Likoni Muslim Primary School is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 1,080 total students. New Fire disciples 902 of those elementary-school students regularly through our dedicated volunteers.
Maji Safi Comprehensive School is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 1,500 total students. New Fire disciples 500 of those elementary through high-school aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers - Helen, Fatuma, Cynthia, Peter, Mwashuma, Vinoly, Demaris, and Fath.
Kitaruni New Hope School is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 250 total students. New Fire disciples each of those 250 elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers, Emily and Susan.
Mwamambi Comprehensive School is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 800 total students. New Fire disciples 500 of those elementary through high-school aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers - Lewis, Eunice, Dreda, and Vivian.
Mrima Comprehensive School is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 3,200 total students. New Fire disciples 700 of those elementary through high-school aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteers - Helen, Dalmas, Nancy, Enock, Jacky, Akoth, Doreen, Kendi, and Caro.
Imara Academy is located in the Mombasa region of Kenya, serving 57 total students. New Fire disciples each of those 57 elementary-aged students regularly through our dedicated volunteer Margaret.

Our Evangelism program carries the Gospel beyond the walls of the church and into the places where people live, gather, and search for hope. Through street outreach, home visits, weekend missions, and travel into remote regions of Tanzania and Kenya, lives are being changed by the message of Christ.
Our teams perform street evangelism in Tanzania almost every week. They typically bring a loudspeaker and come prepared with our New Fire For Christ Gospel tracts. Sometimes there is singing, but there is always a clear presentation of the gospel. We are seeing people come to Christ regularly through street evangelism. Our Eastern Kenya team uses breaks in the regular school schedule to organize weekend outreaches. Eastern Kenya is predominantly Muslim, and our teams go to difficult areas to share the love of Christ through outdoor preaching, skits, song, and games. These outreaches occur on the streets and along the beaches of Eastern Kenya. Just $1,000 a year can go a long way toward resourcing our volunteers with tracts, game and skit materials, meals, and transportation. Our Tanzania team performs week-long outreaches in the bush. These are places without running water or electricity, and these are people who have often never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Travel to these locations is difficult, but the joy of salvation makes these sacrifices worthwhile. With the right resources, we even have an opportunity to build a local gathering place for local discipleship and fellowship. We invest between $3,700 and $4,500 each year into these outreaches. We have over 200 volunteers across four nations who visit primary and secondary schools on a regular basis. These schools trust our trained volunteers to teach God’s Word and disciple these students. We are reaching tens of thousands of students each year! To ensure our volunteers are equipped and encouraged for this important work, we provide semi-annual training. We invest between $21,000 and $25,000 a year into these efforts. We provide transportation, food, and lodging when we gather for these two-day trainings. During school breaks, our staff and volunteers visit local churches to provide evangelism training. These training sessions begin as seminars and always conclude with practical experience. They “Go out into all the World…” These churches trust our team and do everything we can to equip God’s people. When a local church evangelizes, converts have an immediate relational connection for future discipleship. Reach, teach, send!
