Who We Are

New Fire for Christ (NFC) is a global ministry dedicated to sharing the message of Jesus Christ in strategic nations around the world. Through evangelistic efforts, mass discipleship programs, and partnerships with local leaders, NFC focuses on reaching the lost and training disciples to multiply their faith. Their mission is to not only bring people to Christ but also to empower new believers to become lifelong disciples and disciple-makers, ensuring lasting impact and spiritual growth across nations.

Our Mission

To reach as many as possible for Christ through evangelism and discipleship.

Our Vision

We accomplish this mission through leading evangelistic and discipleship efforts, inviting people to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior, to discover His great plan for their lives, and to multiply by going and making more disciples for Christ.

Our Story

Dr. Bob and Mallory Boyd founded New Fire for Christ in the 1990s in response to a growing wave of secularism impacting young people. Burdened by the reality that many around the world did not know Christ, they felt called to action—to ignite a passion for Jesus in the next generation. In the early years, they served through Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), leading campus-wide revivals across the United States and calling students to a life transformed by the Gospel. As their ministry grew, international doors began to open. In 1993, shortly after the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Boyds led a city-wide outreach in Russia. In a time of newfound political freedom, many were searching for something deeper. As the Gospel was shared, nearly the entire crowd responded to the invitation to follow Christ, and new churches began to emerge.Over the years, New Fire for Christ has expanded into more than a dozen countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan, India, and beyond. In Pakistan, large evangelistic campaigns have led thousands to Christ, with ongoing ministry through local churches and house-to-house outreach.A pivotal moment came in 2003 during a festival in Webuye, Kenya, where the Boyds recognized the urgent need to reach children—many of whom had been affected by the AIDS crisis. As students responded to the Gospel, it became clear that discipleship was essential. From this need, the “School of Discipleship” was born.Today, this program has grown to reach over 200,000 students in more than 220 schools across East Africa, led by 152 trained volunteers. Lives are being transformed both spiritually and practically, as students grow in faith, education improves, and communities are impacted. What began as a burden has become a global movement—one that continues to bring the hope of Christ to the next generation.

The Lord had Dr. Bob and Mallory lead city-wide evangelistic campaigns and conferences in Pakistan, India, Russia, Tanzania, and Kenya. These mass evangelism efforts required intense follow-up. As a result, New Fire has founded ongoing Schools of Discipleship, with 200,000 students in Africa and Asia being discipled regularly and many transformed by Christ.Dr. Bob has ministered to millions through evangelistic campaigns, radio programs, and television. As a result, forty-six churches have been founded, and tens of thousands of students have become active disciples of Christ. What We Believe ...

God

There is one eternal God, who exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is fully man and fully God, united in one person forever. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died for our sins on the cross, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead after three days, after which He appeared to many witnesses. Christ ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, imparts new life to those who put their faith in Christ, baptizes them (I Cor. 12:13), indwells them and seals them, and glorifies Christ. He fills and empowers them who yield their lives to Him by faith. The Holy Spirit gives various gifts to the body of Christ, to build up the body for God's glory.

The Bible is God's word, infallible and inerrant in the original manuscripts, composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible is the supreme and final authority on all matters about which it speaks.

Man (i.e. man & woman) was created in the image of God. Through his sin and rebellion against God, he was bought under God's judgement and the sentence of death. Because of man's sin, he is corrupt and unable to please God. Every man is lost apart from God's saving grace through Jesus Christ.

Man is saved by faith (trust) in Jesus Christ, not on the basis of human works or goodness (Eph. 2:8-9). Those who are saved are "born again" into the kingdom of God (John 3:3,7), and become new creatures (II Cor. 5:17).

Jesus Christ is the head of the church, which is made up of all those who have been redeemed through faith in Him. The church is not a physical building, but the body of believers in whom Christ dwells through the Holy Spirit. This church is manifested locally in congregations of believers who meet together as Christ commands, to "consider one another to provoke [each other] to love and good works" (Heb. 10:24).

At his physical death, the believer enters into eternal fellowship with the Lord in heaven, while the unbeliever is judged and enters into eternal separation from God in hell.

Jesus Christ will return to earth personally and bodily to reign over the world at the end of time.

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to be witnesses to Him (Acts 1:8), and to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20). Our commitment to obey the Great Commission requires that all personal ambitions be surrendered in a total commitment to Jesus Christ and His work in the world.
